On behalf of the orphaned, injured and displaced wildlife in care now, and in the future, W.R.E.S. offers a heartfelt thank you for your donation, large or small.

W.R.E.S. Needs your help. We need more Volunteers to help behind the scenes and on the frontline. To help with the maintenance and running of the Complex, Committee of Management, Fundraising Committee etc. Participation in W.R.E.S. is a rewarding experience. W.R.E.S is in real need of your help. Please any small donation will go to helping with the rehabilitation and release of our Wildlife.
When you find injured, orphaned or displaced wildlife, remember, the creature will be terrified. It WILL try to protect itself. Keep yourself safe.
Stress kills wildlife. Until you can pass the creature onto an experienced wildlife rescuer, keep it:
Secure in a cardboard box or suitable, well-ventilated container, away from family pets and curious people, and away from loud noise and bright lights.
Once contained, do not offer food or water. The wrong food can be lethal. Forcing water on wildlife can do damage. When you ring the wildlife emergency number, you will be advised what to do.
It is illegal to keep native wildlife, unless you are an authorised wildlife carer or wildlife shelter operator. Laws are in place to protect our native wildlife, and you.
