• Keep wildlife away from all pets.
• Stress and Shock are the main killers once a native animal or bird is captured.
• If you can pick up a wild native animal or bird, there is something wrong with it.
• Keep the animal or bird warm and quiet.
• Treat all animals for shock regardless of condition.

You must have a wildlife shelter authorization or be a registered foster carer to take in and care for Native wildlife. All orphaned or injured wildlife will be assessed by our veterinarian and according to it's condition be treated for it's injuries. Call our emergency number for more information.
