I am an Orphan thanks to W.R.E.S Jo is my new MUM.
I am Koko Koala and I am just a little Koala. I lost my mum and the rest of my family in the bushfires. I am not lonely here at W.R.E.S. because there are lots of Koalas here, some of the other Koalas are really sad because they have burned their paws and fur, or got sick from the smoke.
New Koalas are coming here now because they are hungry and sick. They haven't got any Gum Leaves left to eat where they live. The people at W.R.E.S are helping them get better so they can go to new homes in the forest.
My new foster mother Jo is taking really good care of me, so that I can grow up to be big and strong and can go back to the forest with the rest of my new friends here at W.R.E.S.
But W.R.E.S. needs money, so they can keep driving to where our leaves grow, and get us fresh ones and to buy the bandages and medicine to make my friends well again. I need special milk too 'cause I'm only little.
Please make any donations large or small here your friend Koko the baby koala.
As you can see Iam getting better and when I get to go home I will show you those pictures so please come back to visit. However if you become a friend of W.R.E.S.you can recieve regular updates on how we all are and what W.R.E.S. is doing.
