W.R.E.S. Fundraising

It seems every not-for-profit organisation is clamouring for a share of fundraising dollars. W.R.E.S. is no different, in that respect, from other dedicated groups. We depend on fundraising to supplement donations and sponsorships so we can continue what we do best – help our native wildlife. And, depending on the urgency of the need, fundraising can be a bane, or a whole lot of fun. W.R.E.S. volunteers have experienced both aspects. Several of our members are not averse to dressing up or looking a trifle odd in the quest to add to the fundraising purse.

However, still growing as an organisation, W.R.E.S. is in dire need of an enthusiastic and passionate person with time on their hands and fundraising ‘smarts’. Our time-strapped committee does its utmost, but a dedicated fundraiser is at the top of the W.R.E.S wish list.
